The Frontline Club Tribute Award acknowledges lifetime achievement or work that has not received the acclaim that it deserves. It is judged on a lifetime of work and is decided by the panel of judges.
This year we are delighted to include the awarding of The Richard Beeston Bursary 2014 in our ceremony. This award is for an aspiring British foreign correspondent to spend six weeks abroad, researching and reporting a foreign news story, on a fellowship with The Times newspaper. A further award is available for a young Israeli, Lebanese or Palestinian journalist to spend six weeks on secondment to The Times in London. Applicants should have at least two years journalistic experience, be under the age of 30 and have a professional command of English.
The 2014 awards ceremony will take place on Thursday, Oct. 16, 2014. More details of the evening will be announced soon.
The Frontline Club Awards seek to recognise new emerging talents and established names who have shown integrity, courage and independent spirit in their work.
