Blog/Magazine Development and Contribution
(Unpaid, virtual/onsite, downtown Seattle, commitment is flexible)

We are working to develop a new type of business magazine. The "magazine" will provide an array of articles, tutorials, tips and product reviews on topics relating to business and taxes. Our goal is to bring complex topics down to the common language and present information in modern and interesting ways. The targets audience are start-ups, entrepreneurs and professionals.

This "magazine" is a stand alone project and a subsidiary of Pretty Books, an accounting practice in Seattle.

We are looking for content curators, bloggers and marketing enthusiasts to contribute to the project. Commitment is flexible. Virtual commitment is also acceptable.

As an intern, you will work alongside the founders to develop 1-2 specific project of your choice. We encourage creative independence on all your projects. You will be Notified and credited for your contribution when it is published. The time commitment can either end upon the delivery of your first project or continue until you see fit.

You like to be creative Reading, Written and Verbal: - General mathematics i.e.. algebra, calculus, statistics - Strong English written skill - Strong English verbal skill


The type of content that you can contribute to are: 1) tutorials 2) tips and guides 3) product reviews 4) blog/articles 5) infographics/ creative data 6) interviews/ local stories Additionally, you can also choose to take part in the development, branding and strategy for the magazine. The level and type of work during your commitment is catered according to your interests. This position is definitely for the energetic go-getter and someone who would like to test their personal potential and creativity. It is also a great way to build your portfolio and get a taste of real-world business development, from idea to implementation.
