Requirements: • A cover letter must be submitted with the resume to be considered for an internship. • Currently attending an accredited college and have achieved junior or senior status • Must receive college academic credit – No Exceptions • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Able to meet the minimum time commitment for the internship program (minimum of 20 hours per week) during Normal business hours Monday – Friday. • Must be computer literate, and have experience using MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. • KNowledge of Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premier is a plus, but Not required. • Previous experience running a studio camera is a plus. • Must present a letter from College or University verifying enrollment and number of credits to be earned if accepted in to our program.
Responsibilities
CREATIVE SERVICES INTERNSHIP: We are Now accepting resumes for the Fall, 2015 Semester. Student interns participating in this internship may have the opportunity to be involved in the following activities: • Editing (topical), station IDs and other on-air/web materials • Shooting/assisting production of community affairs programming (both in studio and out in the field) • Assisting in Creative Services and Sales shoots (production assistant, pre-production, talent releases, etc. as well as casting call assistance) • Shooting, writing, editing web diaries of station events • Organizing/updating film and music/sfx libraries (including logs for existing tapes with No current content identification) • Organizing syndicated programming tapes/topical feed tapes back in storage area • Web posting updates (with guidance & supervision from Writer/Producer) • Outside station events staffing/booth set-up (especially for spring/summer interns) • Organizing and maintenance of the prize closet • Other duties as they arise. • Some weekend work may be scheduled, particularly during Spring/Summer.
