The Disney ABC Television Group (DATG) is home to all of The Walt Disney Company's worldwide entertainment and news television properties. The Group includes the ABC Television Network (including ABC Entertainment Group and ABC News divisions); the Disney Channels Worldwide global kids’ TV business and ABC Family; as well as television distribution divisions Disney ABC Domestic Television and Disney ABC ESPN Television. The Disney ABC Television Group also manages the Radio Disney Network, as well the Company’s equity interest in A&E Television Networks. Disney Junior reflects the emotional connection generations of consumers have to Disney storytelling and Disney characters, both classic and contemporary. It invites mom and dad to join their child in the Disney experience of magical, musical and heartfelt stories and characters, while incorporating specific learning and development themes designed for kids age 2-7. Disney Junior's series blend Disney's unparalleled storytelling and characters kids love deeply with learning, including early math, language skills, healthy eating and lifestyles, and social skills. In the U.S., Disney Junior is a daily programming block on Disney Channel and a 24-hour channel. The Marketing Intern will support the Disney Junior Off-Air group in the execution of consumer marketing campaigns for programming and franchise priorities. He/she will work closely with the off-air marketing coordinator, manager and director to collaborate with creative teams to develop media assets, coordinate digital marketing/social networking initiatives and execute grassroots events.


Basic Qualifications: •All students must be eligible to work in the US and available to work at least 3 full days in the office •All students must be pursuing a bachelors or master’s degree and be currently enrolled at an accredited university •All students must provide their own housing and transportation for the duration of the internship •All students must be professional, able to follow instructions and complete tasks given •All students must be proficient with Microsoft Office Preferred Qualifications: • Preferred fields of study: Marketing, Advertising and/or Digital Media with a focus and passion for (Kids) Television and Entertainment • Candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Office Pro and have experience with Photoshop and Key Note. • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal • Positive can-do attitude with strong initiative and follow through • Ability to multi-task and prioritize project workflow in a fast pace environment Additional Information: • All students must be eligible to work in the US • All students must be at least 18 years old • You must currently be enrolled in an accredited college or university and taking at least one class – OR – be a recent graduate of an accredited college or university within the last six (6) months - OR - be currently participating in the Disney College Program, Disney Culinary Program or Disney Professional Internship Program in order to qualify for this internship. • All students must be available to work at least 20 hours/week. • All students must be available during the months of September through December for the 12 week program. Responsibilities: • Support the execution and implementation of marketing initiatives and distribution of advertising assets across media platforms. • Support creative development, distribution, shipping and fulfillment of premiums and event collateral. • Manage marketing decks and one sheet overviews and recaps. • Help coordinate production schedules and timelines. • Assistance with social media monitoring, copy writing, and reporting. • Participate in competitive network research and presentations. • General administrative duties; internal legal routing; copywriting; vendor contracts; set up meetings and take meeting Notes
