Description

We are seeking an editorial intern to assist with creating smart and lively stories for the ZOZI Journal. This is a great opportunity for an aspiring writer who is interested in covering travel and outdoor activities. You’ll receive hands-on experience shepherding articles through the entire production cycle—from vague story ideas to published posts. In addition to working closely with the editor, interns will have an opportunity to connect with and learn from team leaders across all of ZOZI’s departments. We are looking for candidates who can start soon as well as those who are looking for summer internships. The position can be either part-time (20 hours/week) or full-time, depending on availability. Please Note this is an unpaid internship.

Send a brief email that introduces us to you and your work. In a few paragraphs, explain why you’re interested in interning at ZOZI and what relevant experience you’ll bring. If you have clips, point us to three relevant stories that show off what you can do. If you don’t have any published work, please send a short writing sample (No more than 500 words) that you think would be a good fit for the Journal. This doesn’t need to be a complete article.
