Sommet Dame is an online women's lifestyle magazine in the vein of Glamour and Marie Claire. We are seeking an Entertainment Editor intern (for 6 months) who will cover and review all film, music, television and web scripted works that identify with and relates to Sommet Dame's target demographic.

The candidates should possess an aptitude/interest in writing about all forms scripted media.

The candidate should possess an aptitude/interest in writing about a diverse range of music from various genres.

The candidate should also possess an aptitude/interest in writing about fiction/Non-fiction literature.

The candidate should possess the kNowledge and ability to cover entertainment topics for a diverse readership.

The position shall be virtual. As an editorial intern, you will be given the responsibility of writing and posting regular weekly pieces. All interns will be able to use their tenure with the Sommet Dame as a resume building experience.

Preferably you should be a college undergraduate or graduate studying journalism (or a related field) and have prior writing/reporting experience with your school newspaper or aNother publication. Write a weekly column highlighting film and televisions releases. Regularly write about the latest independent short film releases. Write a bi-weekly music column. Write a monthly piece on the latest book releases. Interviewing industry insiders, reviewing media releases and attend related events as necessary.
