Description

CNN Digital Ad Sales is seeking a Graphic Designer to design creative assets on behalf of advertising clients for various digital and mobile campaigns. Examples of projects include advertising banners, native placements, and presentation materials for our sales division.

The intern must have a passion for graphic design and a strong understanding of designing for the web. He or she must be able to work well in a team environment, take direction from designers and/or directors, and work efficiently on his or her own.

Requirements

The ideal candidate must be a self-starter, currently enrolled in a four-year college or university in a Graphic Design-related field with a strong graphic design portfolio. Must be proficient with Photoshop and Illustrator. A basic understanding of responsive design, CSS, HTML is a plus. A general proficiency in KeyNote, Adobe Flash and MS Office is needed along with organizational excellence. Intern will need to be able to communicate clearly in both written and oral form. There must be interest advertising and the news industry. Must be able to commit a minimum of 20 hours per week during Normal business hours.

Students must have completed their sophomore year in college prior to the start of the internship. In addition, students may Not have graduated college or graduate school prior to the start of the internship (i.e. STUDENTS MUST BE ENROLLED IN SCHOOL DURING THE TIME OF THIS INTERNSHIP).
