Potential Opportunities:

The intern will have an opportunity to observe and learn a number of functions under the Turner Sports umbrella, which may include:
-Pulling, clipping, and logging footage
-Ability to learn and subsequently perform some Production Assistant level duties.
-Compiling, evaluating and logging sports video (NBA, MLB, NCAA, PGA).
-Creative writing for broadcast.
-Learning post-production fundamentals: editing, sound design and visual effects.

Please Note: Students @ Work Internships Program dates are September 21, 2015 - December 4, 2015. Interns are paid at minimum-wage and relocation is Not provided. Students must have completed their sophomore year in college prior to the start of the internship. In addition, students may Not have graduated college or graduate school prior to the start of the internship (i.e. STUDENTS MUST BE ENROLLED IN SCHOOL DURING THE TIME OF THIS INTERNSHIP). Note to International Students: All international students will be required to provide documentation of proper visa paperwork prior to your arrival if accepted to the program.

Qualifications: This candidate should be seeking a degree in journalism, communications, or related field. Sports kNowledge and production experience is a plus. The candidate must have exceptional organizational skills and be able to handle multiple tasks with ease. Attention to detail, troubleshooting abilities, and a willingness to learn are a necessity. Familiarity with Final Cut and Adobe Premiere is a plus.


Duties: The Creative Services Sports Unit is responsible for producing show elements and on-air promotions for the sports properties of tbs, TNT, NBA TV, as well as the creative for our dotcoms, Bleacher Report, NBA.com, NBA Overtime, NCAA.com, and PGA.com.
