Education and/or Experience Enrollment in Communication classes past or present a plus. Prior internship or working experience in radio/TV(college or professional), preferred Broadcast Communications majors, preferred Experience with digital media systems a plus. General Skills Good project management and planning skills. Good personnel management skills. Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Working independently and in a team environment. Ability to pay attention to details. Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment. Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects. Familiar with SiriusXM Programming. KNowledge of various music styles and genres. Computer Skills KNowledge of Broadcast Automation/On-Air software, a plus. Experience with digital editing software (Cool Edit, Pro Tools, Adobe Audition), preferred. Duties & Responsibilities Correction of metadata. Basic audio editing. Work with music scheduling software (Music Master/Powergold) and assist with database creation and maintenance. Assembly of promo pieces. Distribution of playlists to record labels. "Ingestion" of music in to database. Show preparation for on-air talent (concert dates, news, etc.) Listener interaction (through e-mail, on-air phone screening) Occasional on-air participation. Other duties as assigned.
