Family Reunion is a 501(c)3, tax exempt, Non profit organization that educates the public, media, and policy makers on social issues relating to families.
Family Reunion has two projects: Women Against Paternity Fraud (WAPF) and Men's E-News.
WAPF addresses the issue of paternity which has devastating effects (Not only on men) but the women in their lives; their spouses, girlfriends, mothers, aunts, grandmothers, relatives, and especially on children. WAPF hopes to address the issue of Paternity Fraud by instituting dialogue and educational efforts that bring about effective and positive change --- to insure the protection of all citizens throughout the country.
The mission of Men's E-News is to provide men, and the women who care about their well-being, with up-to-date news and information, relevant to numerous issues men and boys may face. Our vision is to motivate and inspire our readers to join us in improving the health and well-being of men, boys, and families with the information we provide.
This position is open to students enrolled at any college or university or a graduate looking for real world experience. The students' interests must lie in journalism. While this is an UNPAID internship, student interns will have an opportunity to receive college credit. Contact your undergraduate advising officer for more information on academic credit. The position is open for as long as the student would like, but with a minimum length of 12 weeks, 21 to 35 hours/week.
