WETA Public Television and Classical 90.9 FM provides internship opportunities designed to help expand students' kNowledge and experience in public media and compliment their studies.

Web interns in WETA’s Learning Media department will have the opportunity to contribute to five vibrant educational multimedia web services – AdLit.org, BrainLine.org, ColorinColorado.org, LDOnline.org, and ReadingRockets.org – while expanding their kNowledge and understanding of current educational practices. Will also help promote new content through social media and assist in general administration of the various sites.

Preferred major in Education, English, Web Development, Digital Media, Media Arts, or a related field. Must have outstanding written and oral communication as well as creative thinking skills with an acute attention to detail and quality in all work. Experience with professional online social networking software such as: Hootsuite, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. KNowledge of Adobe Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator or Dreamweaver is a plus. Fluency in Spanish is also a plus.
