This position is located at TD Garden, located in Boston, MA. It is home to the 2011 NHL’s Stanley Cup Champion Boston Bruins and the NBA’s Boston Celtics. The state-of-the-art TD Garden is a year-round, 19,600-seat arena, fully equipped with a Pro Shop, four private restaurants, 89 executive suites, 1,100 club seats, and a multi-million dollar High Definition video scoreboard. Requirements

General office kNowledge and are proficient in most PC platforms, including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint. Able to work at least 2 full days a week, and to have a flexible schedule for evening and weekend events. Enrolled in an undergraduate program or post graduate in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Management preferred

Responsibilities

Marketing and PR interns at TD Garden have a diverse range of responsibilities including but Not limited to: Monitor media hits and advertising placements for information pertinent to the TD Garden, Boston Bruins and Boston Celtics as well as any other concerts and family shows on a daily basis. Assist in the community relations department, processing ticket and donation requests through the Non-profit organization, Garden Neighborhood Charities. Oversee print and radio trade for upcoming events and to aid in the execution and evaluation of all advertising campaigns, including creative used in media outlets such as TV, radio, print creative, etc. Research of upcoming events and will be asked to help with varying promotions relating to specific events Perform general office work, such as photocopying, faxing, data entry, and mass mailing; Assist with more specific projects such as public relations plans, recap documents and clip books, marketing plans and media buys.
