Description

We have a dedicated team that oversees all retail marketing and events at Grand Central Terminal in New York.

Available immediately: We are looking for an intern to assist with all marketing & event efforts this summer. The internship would be 2 days per week, possibly more during special events for approximately $15/hour. (At least 16 hours per week.)

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience: -Ideal candidate will be an upper-level undergraduate or recent graduate with an interest in marketing and events. -Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, including experience with social media management. -Previous experience with Adobe software, graphic design, HTML is a plus. -Experience in special events coordination is a plus. Retail experience preferred but Not required. We want an enthusiastic team player that likes to share ideas and is ready for a challenge. Photography is Not required, but is preferred. Responsibilities

Sample tasks include: -Assist in maintaining Grand Central website, social media platforms, and email newsletters -Research new content for social media and take photos/videos of the building for all social media channel -Assist with event production and on-site event presence -Assist with tenant coordination -Managing incoming calls and emails from our info line -Brainstorm new marketing initiatives for our retail and dining tenants
