Summary of DWP
Danny Wimmer Presents (DWP) was founded by industry veteran and tastemaker, Danny Wimmer, and produces some of the largest festivals in the rock and alternative landscapes. Never satisfied with the status quo, Danny Wimmer Presents strives to create memorable and fulfilling concert experiences leaving both consumers and partners with lasting and meaningful impressions. Since 1993, DWP has created, developed and produced events from the club level to some of the largest North American festivals including Rock On The Range, Aftershock, Louder Than Life, Welcome to Rockville & Carolina Rebellion.

Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop & Indesign, etc.)
Ability to head up projects in a group setting and alone
Hardworking
Attention to detail
Interest all things rock, hard rock, metal, music, etc.
Previous marketing or publicity experience/courses a plus
Junior or Senior in college or recent graduate required
A desire for a career in the Music Industry
KNowledge of all social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.)
Has reliable transportation
We would like interns who are available a minimum of three (3) days a week and are willing to work four (4) to six (6) hours each work day.
Available to travel to festivals on weekends.
Responsibilities
Tasks will include, but are Not limited to the following: mapping out the reach of partnering radio stations within our festival markets; researching different brands that are relevant to our company and fit our key demographic; marketing our festivals through social media posts (including: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & Hoot); assist in creating a compelling social media presence for the bands we manage; and create various promotional materials using the Adobe Creative Suite. Attend creative meetings to discuss relevant marketing campaigns for upcoming shows, secondary entertainment and art.
