At GHF, the Media Intern will impact and shape our marketing and communications strategy and the maintenance of GHF’s organizational brand through various internal and external communications channels, including print, digital, and social media. Enthusiasm for, and experience with, developing inNovative digital (web, social, etc.) strategies is essential.
This is an exciting, portfolio opportunity for a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit who is passionate about looking for new ways to engage with and grow our diverse global community of doNors, partners, government, businesses and civil society.
This internship offers opportunities to learn and participate in Non-profit organizational growth related to preservation of cultural heritage sites, sustainable ecoNomic development, and social change.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to communicate across many forms of media. (blogs, articles, and any writing samples are required) • Firm understanding of social media and how to leverage it for business and Non-profit. (Facebook, Instagram, twitter, YouTube) • Extremely organized, detail-oriented, analytical individual. Ability to work independently, multitask and perform multiple duties on short Notice. • A strong command of WordPress and its templates. Proven ability to update and manage the backend of a WordPress site including light graphic design and ability to update existing CSS. • KNowledge of basic HTML, website content management, and graphic design. • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite • A BA in Journalism or similar area of study. • At least 2-3 years in an office environment. • Passion for travel, history, arts, culture or heritage How To Apply: Please email Nada Hosking at [email protected]


• Assist with the implementation of new GHF branding, and support the development of communications strategy and content. • Assist with development and execution of marketing efforts to drive new and existing support of GHF’s programmatic and fundraising initiatives. • Development and management of editorial calendar and content development processes for all channels of communication. • Produce marketing and communication content for a variety of organizational communications channels such as website, blogs, social media, press released and printed reports and publications. • Assist with GHF brand management, and provide tools/guidelines to allow staff and third party partners to express the organizational brand accurately and effectively to external audiences. Create internal standards for communication. • Audit documents and materials to ensure consistency and adherence to GHF’s graphic standards, language, and voice styles. • Coordinate and implement website maintenance, ensuring that new and consistent content (links, stories, events, etc.) is posted regularly, and web functionality is continually analyzed and enhanced
