The Pittsburgh Penguins are currently seeking an intern for the Fall 2015 semester to assist with social media, website management, graphic design and digital marketing projects. Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and game nights. Relocation assistance will Not be provided. This internship is unpaid.


Candidates should possess the following qualifications: Pursuing a degree in digital media, sports management, graphic design, marketing, communications or related field Required: Must have completed sophomore year (graduate students preferred) Required Technical Skills: Adobe Creative Suite, HTML, Microsoft Office, Hootsuite/Tweetdeck (or similar social content management tool) Preferred Technical Skills: Comfort with a DSLR camera, familiarity with social listening tools, familiarity with web analytics software (Google Analytics or similar platforms), CSS, Javascript, Illustrator, InDesign, Website design and optimization experience Preferred: Strong hockey kNowledge and familiarity with the NHL and the Pittsburgh Penguins. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Assist with content creation/execution on the Penguins’ social networks Assist with management and maintenance of the official website of the Pittsburgh Penguins Prepare presentations and website content, including copy and photo galleries Assist in graphic design efforts for Penguins social media, website and other digital properties Assist with digital sponsorship management and reporting
