We are a documentary film production with a commitment to using film and media to spark conversation and grassroots action. Our current film “Prodigal Daughter” is a film on family reunification, healing and the undocumented immigrant experience in the US. http://www.prodigaldaughterthemovie.com

Our team is looking for passionate and highly motivated students /grad students excited to be part of cause-oriented films and outreach/communications campaigns.


- Strong interest and familiarity with social advocacy, LatiNo culture, immigration, women, film - Strong writing, editing and research skills; strong phone communication skills - Proficiency in Photoshop and ability to create visual graphics to complement some of our messages - Ability to organize tasks efficiently and execute them in a timely manner - Being bilingual in English and Spanish (writing / speaking) is a great plus - Crowdfunding experience is a plus – We are launching our campaign in July - Able to occasionally update Word Press pages - Enrolled in graduate school or a recent graduate - Preferred class/professional experience with communications, journalism, and/or education We are looking for 10 hours per week for the next 4 to 6 months. We offer a small stipend, school credits, film credits and the opportunity to work with an award-winning team on a meaningful film about immigration and the positive LatiNo contribution to this country. - Research and identify NGOs, associations and groups working on immigration, LatiNos, women, art therapy, - Establish relationship and follow up with potential NGOs and add them to our growing Excel list - Establish relationship with media outlets interested in featuring our film and story of change - Write content for press releases and newsletter as well as creating/assisting with messaging for community partners and social media (check our social media channels) - Collaborate with our team (Director/Producer, Social Media Lead, Community Engagement Lead)
