As an intern at Nemetschek Vectorworks, you will:

- Experience a semester of practical work as part of the Global Marketing Communications team at an international software company.
- Write material that will be published online and around the world.
- Work in an office environment where you'll gain teamwork and project management skills that are important in any career.
- Begin to build your network of professional contacts.
- Combine book kNowledge and classroom instruction with the practical challenges of day-to-day project implementation.


Job Requirements: - Background in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or other related disciplines Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - Ability to show initiative, multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines - Experience with social media marketing and working with Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, Pinterest, Flickr, and Instagram for business - Working kNowledge of Hootsuite and Vocus is a plus - An ability to convey compelling messages, both in person and in writing - Interest in generating creative ideas that align with brand strategies - A positive attitude and willingness to work with the team to achieve departmental goals - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Eligibility Requirements: - Internships require working a minimum of 16 hours per week with a maximum of 40 hours per week. - You must be at least 18 years of age with a degree in a related discipline or be a graduate or undergraduate student entering your junior or senior year. - This is a paid internship and compensation will be based on qualifications. We currently do Not provide housing or transportation reimbursement. Interns are Not eligible for company benefits.


Work under the direction of the Global Communications Specialist and gain experience in: - Writing and editing press releases, articles for company news site, and other marketing materials - Researching industry publications and pitching editorial content - Strategizing global advertising campaigns - Creating social media campaigns including scheduling, tracking analytics, and performing trend research - Collaborating with team members on new projects, stories, and ideas - Other duties as assigned
