Description

Orlando City SC is looking for a creative and driven Social Media Intern to assist in running multiple Orlando City SC accounts. This person will work alongside the Social Media Coordinator and will have the opportunity to learn how to run social media accounts on a professional level. Concluding this internship this person will kNow how to create and write interesting content for fans, cover live events in real-time, and track campaigns through analytics. YOU MUST BE ABLE TO RECEIVE ACADEMIC CREDIT

Requirements

Applicants should be working towards an undergraduate or graduate degree with an emphasis in journalism, communications or related field. Candidates receiving credit for participating in our internship program are preferred. Interested in pursuing a career in social media. Experience with basic photo editing. Strong writing skills. Exceptional reliability, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills required. An idea person who is able to work extremely well within a team to come up with creative solutions and identify new opportunities, often in a high-pressure, fast-changing environment. Strong attention to small details is a must. Able to work Non-traditional hours, in Non-traditional settings, within a team atmosphere. Strong kNowledge of a wide variety of social media platforms. Strong interest in soccer and sports is a plus. Able to work Non-traditional hours, in Non-traditional settings, within a team atmosphere. Last but Not least, a sense of humor is a must. Prepare to tell us a good joke in your interview.

Responsibilities

Use photos and web content to create interesting posts on a daily basis. Assists in real-time coverage during game days. Track, monitor, and engage with fan feedback. Create and track social media campaigns. Other duties and projects as assigned.
