Description

This journalism internship is a great opportunity for anyone thinking of becoming a photojournalist or students of photography and journalism. The creative arts industry is blossoming in South East Asia, making it a very exciting place to kick-start your creative career. The Photography & Journalism Internship placement will be at a company where you can develop your photography and writing skills. One of the companies hosting interns is a software company where you will be taking photographs of condos and apartments in Thailand and where you will also write about areas in Bangkok; this company is in the process of developing software related to the real estate market.

A Thai language course is also included in the programme to make sure your placement in Thailand gets off to a flying start!

Requirements

Minimum age 18. Minimum 3 months commitment. Photography and/or writing skills. Relevant academic background. Determination, self-motivation and ability to work in a team environment. Fluency in English Travel & Medical insurance Necessary Vaccinations. Responsibilities

Your placement will start with a 1 month Thai language course. This will prepare you with the necessary skills and phrases you will be using during your placement and prepare you for life in Thailand. Your placement will also include exciting Business seminars given by successful individuals in the Thai business industry. The seminars will focus on their businesses and activities and how they have achieved their success. You will be given access to exclusive networking events and the unique advantage of expanding your network by connecting you to business people in Thailand. You could potentially do business with them in the future, or get a job through their help.
