Most of the stories will take place in the city of Safety Harbor and/or Oldsmar so living close to these areas is imperative. You will be compensated on a per article basis ranging from $10-$90 an article depending on the content and your experience. There will be anywhere from 1-15 stories available to write about every week.

We are opening other news outlets this year as well so there could be opportunities to grow into daily positions if you find out that freelancing is Not a perfect fit for you.

Connect Online Media is a young and fun media company base in North Pinellas County. We are looking for other like minded individuals who are creative and love living in this area!

Must have at least 1 year (or 2 semesters) of education incorporating journalism. Skills Required - Article Writing Preferred - Online Social Networking, Multimedia Journalism, Article Writing, Journalism

Topics, events, and news stories will be assigned to you on a weekly basis. Time requirements will differ based on the content or story being covered. All articles are local within the following geography: Safety Harbor, Oldsmar, Dunedin, and Clearwater.
